Meanwhile, new federal grant language has led many African American history museums to stop applying for funding altogether, and the official &quot;Freedom Trucks&quot; touring the country for the 250th have been criticized for giving only limited coverage to slavery and minority experiences during the founding era.<br \/>\nHistorians like Howard University&#8217;s Ibram X.
