He never came home. The Jackson County Sheriff&#8217;s Office declared &quot;no foul play&quot; within days &#8211; before the autopsy results even came back.<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s what they haven&#8217;t told you.<\/p>\n<p>The same jurisdiction investigating Nolan&#8217;s death &#8211; Ocean Springs and Jackson County, Mississippi &#8211; carries a documented, confirmed history of active Ku Klux Klan operations reaching from 1964 all the way to 2018. The United Dixie White Knights, a south Mississippi KKK chapter, operated openly in Ocean Springs. Their leader Brent Waller confirmed in a recorded interview that the group infiltrates organizations, works behind the scenes in politics, and maintains &quot;eyes and ears everywhere.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The Mississippi Department of Public Safety held official KKK organizational documents, membership ledgers listing individual names, and meeting notes for decades &#8211; then transferred them to public archives in 2026. The same year Nolan died.<\/p>\n<p>Civil rights attorney Ben Crump represents the family. An independent autopsy found &quot;red discoloration&quot; in the soft tissue of the back of Nolan&#8217;s head. The forensic pathologist cannot rule out foul play. The official autopsy results remain sealed pending a grand jury.<\/p>\n<p>The family deserves answers.
