This source tells of several interesting things about Ghanian priests. For example, Ghanian priests perform libation just as Old Testament prophets conducted. The conclusion of this body of work includes a prophecy that Okomfo Tuda, an Ashante priest, gave. The prophecy stated that “a time would come when the Ashantehene’s power would pass into the hands of the white man who lived far away beyond the great water (sea). The white man would rule over the Ashante nation with feathers and small sticks.” This prophecy aligns with Deuteronomy 28:48-49 and Joel 3:3-6 because of the connection to the Transatlantic Slave Trade that had already existed during the time of the prophecy but also because of the colonization throughout Africa that would arise in the 19th-century after the prophecy was given. The Ashante Chiefs killed that prophet because they didn’t like his prediction just as Old Testament Prophets were rejected by their own people and killed at times, as well. This is a supernatural confirmation that also historically points to negroes scattered throughout the world as slaves.
