This source talks of the potential Israelite origins of the Bantu peoples who are one of primary tribes sold into the Transatlantic and Arab Slave Trade. Many of the the things seen amongst them which are indicated in this post are seen amongst other West African peoples who have been equated to be of Israelite origins, claim Israelite origins, or they claim to come from the ancient near east.

Some of the noteworthy traits attributed to the Bantu that were seen in the ancient Israelites are: monotheism, priestly class, circumcision, original use toward swine’s flesh, custom of taking the deceased wife, and the practice of sorcery.
