Tacitus Noted that the Phoenicians had “Colored” Faces and “Twisted” Hair

Source: Phoenician Ireland (Library of Congress- Dublin, R. M. Timms [etc.]) 1833 A.D.

This source is another confirmation that tells us that parts of the Phoenicians were comprised of peoples of color. Three posts (one post has commentary from Dr. Rebecca Kennedy Futo speaking about the “twisted” hair of Colchians who we have noted were black) have spoken about “black” individuals in the ancient and early medieval Mediterranean having “twists” in regards to their hair.

"And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." - John 8:45-47
