This source confirms that in Islamic thought Shem and Ham both had brown and white complexions amongst their peoples. This is important because it contradicts the old Church tradition that all “brown” or “black” people come from Ham and proves that Shem did have “brown” descendants who we can equate to being dark-skinned peoples.
This source can also be used to show the diversity that existed amongst Shemitic and Hamitic peoples. This source can be used to show that ancient Israel was a civilization that had peoples of all color spectrums amongst its ranks.
