Source: The Villages of the Bible: Descriptive, Traditional, and Memorable (UC Southern Regional Library Facility) 1887 A.D.

This source reaffirms for us the blackness of the tents of Kedar and Kedar, one of the grandsons of Abraham, himself. This source yet again destroys the notion that some people believe all black people are Hamites because we clearly see that Abraham, who was of Shem, was having black/dark-skinned grandchildren. When someone is being compared to the tents of Kedar or to a Cedar tree, it is because they are an extremely black/dark-skinned person.
