My Y-DNA lineage is E-FT115825, a subclade of E-V38 (E1b1a), which under the Young Earth Creation (YEC) model interpreted as descending from Shem, through the proto-Semitic DE line, specifically the E1b1a branch of Abraham-Isaac-Jacob (Israel) — while E1b1b corresponds to Edom/Ishmael/Midian and A & B to Hamitic lines. In that framework: • DE → Shem • E1b1b → Esau, Ishmael, Keturah’s sons (Edomites, Arabs, Midianites) • E1b1a → Jacob/Israel • CF → Japheth (Gentile nations) • A & B → Ham (Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan) So, using my YEC model, the E-V38/E1b1a line carried by many West and Central Africans—and by their descendants in the Americas—represents the Israelite branch of Shem’s family dispersed through Africa after the exile and successive migrations (Cush, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mali, Senegambia, the Atlantic world).
