According to a firsthand eyewitness account by William Bromley in the year 1693, many of the Jews in Portugal were as swarthy (dark or black) as the Moors. In order to get a good idea of exactly how black these Portuguese Jews were, this video examines multiple additional sources dealing with how black the Moors were so that an accurate comparison can be made.
