Is that really Dr. David Yonggi Cho preaching? A YouTube channel called "Younngi Cho Message" is using AI to publish sermons, visions and testimonies in the name of a pastor who died in 2021. Some of these videos have hundreds of thousands of views, and one has more than a million.
Dr. Cho founded Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, the largest single congregation in the world. His last Sunday sermon in the church’s official archive was July 19, 2020. That same month he suffered a brain hemorrhage, and he died on September 14, 2021. Yet this channel presents new "visions" and "testimonies" from him after his death.
The channel’s newer videos now carry a disclaimer admitting they are "not an original recording, direct quotation, or official message from Dr. David Yonggi Cho." The older videos, which have already been seen by huge audiences, carry no warning at all.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1
