If there is one thing I have learned about the heart, it is that it can fully convince us that we are truly living right, when in reality, our lives do not actually line up with what is right. I do not say this simply because it is recorded in the Truth, rather, because I know it through my own life experiences. There were times in my life when I swore I was doing the right thing, only to discover after catastrophic failure and a great storm that I was indeed living opposite of what was right. And if you are honest with yourself, you will admit that you know exactly what I am talking about.
In this study, we are going to take the time to be honest with ourselves, using the truthful context of the Word to inspect our hearts. We will uncover the many ways we mask how we truly feel, and whether we are genuinely walking the righteous path. Because in all reality, finding out in the end whether we truly lived from the inside out, or merely learned how to appear right outwardly, will already be too late. And eternity is a long time to be wrong.
