This piece of evidence is the smoking gun. It's only a couple of paragraphs, but it fills in a great deal of information that we've been missing. Hebrews In Guinea According to the text, the Jews were expelled from Portugal and taken to the coast of Southern Guinea. This was not slavery yet. Also note that Guinea is located in West Africa.
