Illinois’ landmark reparations program — the FIRST and
ONLY government reparations program in American history
for Black residents.
The program has already distributed over $7 million in
$25,000 payments to Black families who suffered housing
discrimination between 1919 and 1969. Now Trump’s DOJ
is calling it unconstitutional racial discrimination.
