👑Shalum Mishpachah👑🔥 WHAT DO THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH HAVE TO DO WITH THE FALL OF BABYLON AND THE SECOND EXODUS OF ISRAEL? The prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and John revealed extraordinary prophecies concerning Babylon’s judgment, the gathering of YAHUAH’s scattered people, and the restoration of Israel.
But one prophecy deserves special attention:
Isaiah 60:9 — “Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of YAHUAH thy Alahiym…”
Who were the ships of Tarshish? Where was Tarshish located? What did these vessels represent in the ancient world? And how does this prophecy connect to the promised gathering of Israel?
In this powerful Kingdom Covenant Heirs teaching, we examine the Scriptures, ancient geography, prophetic symbolism, and the relationship between Babylon’s fall and the Second Exodus.
📖 IN THIS LESSON, WE WILL EXAMINE:
🔥 The prophetic fall of Mystery Babylon — Revelation 17–18
🔥 The command to come out of Babylon — Revelation 18:4
🔥 The ships of Tarshish in biblical history and prophecy
🔥 Isaiah 60:9 and the return of Israel’s sons from afar
🔥 Isaiah 66:19–20 and the nations bringing Israel’s scattered brethren
🔥 Jeremiah 16:14–15 and the greater Exodus
🔥 Ezekiel 20:33–38 and the wilderness gathering
🔥 The distinction between fleeing Babylon and YAHUAH’s later gathering of Israel
🔥 The ancient maritime world and the identification of Tarshish
🔥 YAHUAH’s covenant promises concerning the restoration of His people
IMPORTANT SCRIPTURES FOR YOUR PERSONAL STUDY:
Isaiah 60:1–9 | Isaiah 66:19–20 | Jeremiah 16:14–15 | Jeremiah 50:8 | Jeremiah 51:6 | Ezekiel 20:33–38 | Psalm 48:7 | 1 Kings 10:22 | 2 Chronicles 9:21 | Revelation 18:4–19
“And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered…” — Ezekiel 20:34
Family, we must carefully distinguish the prophetic warnings concerning Babylon from the promises of Israel’s gathering among the nations. Every passage must be examined within its proper context.
Are the ships of Tarshish merely a reference to ancient maritime commerce, or do the prophetic passages also point toward a future gathering?
