Ephah was the largest dry measurement standard in Israel. It was ideally to be used as a basket to gather a righteous harvest of grain for YAH.
During Zechariah’s time, corrupt merchants used rigged scales and falsified measures to exploit the poor. By showing the woman named ‘Wickedness’ inside of an ephah basket, YAH exposes how the system is being used for unrighteousness instead of righteousness. A harvest of corruption.
The Rebuilding of the temple represents a separation of the two systems.
