YOM KIPPUR — THE DAY OF ATONEMENT — is one of YAHUAH’s most solemn appointed times. But is Yom Kippur simply about fasting, or does YAHUAH require something much deeper?
In this Kingdom Covenant Heirs teaching, we examine the biblical meaning of Yom Kippur, Teshuvah, afflicting the soul, repentance, confession, forgiveness, restitution, and reconciliation with YAHUAH and one another.
Many people can abstain from food while never truly turning away from sin. But Scripture reveals that genuine repentance involves more than saying, “I’m sorry.”
We will examine the process of TRUE TESHUVAH:
1. Azivat HaChet — Forsaking the Sin
Turn away from the transgression.
2. Haratah — Genuine Remorse
Recognize the seriousness of what was done.
3. Widuiy — Confession
Acknowledge the sin honestly before YAHUAH.
4. Qabalah Al HeAtid — Commitment for the Future
Resolve not to return to the same transgression.
And where another person has suffered loss, Scripture also teaches the principle of restitution.

📖 Leviticus 23:26–32
📖 Numbers 5:6–7
📖 Isaiah 58
📖 Psalm 51
📖 Joel 2:12–13
📖 Matthew 5:23–24
📖 1 John 1:9
This teaching challenges us to examine ourselves:
Are we merely fasting—or truly repenting?
Have we confessed while refusing to change?
Have we asked YAHUAH for forgiveness while refusing to make things right with people we have wronged?
Are we approaching Yom Kippur with ritual—or with a broken and contrite heart?
“Rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto YAHUAH your Elohim…” — Joel 2:13
Prepare your heart. Examine your ways. Seek reconciliation. Make restitution where necessary. Return wholeheartedly to YAHUAH.
🔥 This message will help you understand the urgency of repentance, the power of confession, and the hope of redemption through Yahuah’s covenant. Don’t miss this powerful study that reveals how Yom Kippur impacts not only Israel but the entire world.
