While the details are not fully known as to how or exactly when it began, but what we do know is that starting in 2015, a large number of descendants of slaves began to look into their history and identify as descendants of ancient Israelites. This is what is referred to as “The Awakening” within the Israelite community. This video is one of those testimonies.
